Community Volunteer Program

Mount Sinai Queens accepts community volunteers, including high school students, for supervised patient-facing and nonclinical assignments based on current hospital needs. Typical responsibilities: Assignments may include patient support, diagnostic-department assistance, administrative support, and special events.

High school students, college students, and adults are eligible; some placements have higher age limits. Background screening: Accepted volunteers complete background screening. Health clearance: Accepted volunteers complete toxicology and health screening.
